Regarding this agreement
This user agreement is aimed at users of SolarApp.ch and can be viewed online at any time under the menu item ‘User Agreement’. SolarApp is entitled to change any section of this user agreement at any time. Changes come into force as soon as they are published online. If the terms of use change, they will be presented to the user for confirmation the next time they access SolarApp.
About SolarApp
SolarApp is a service provided by leading solar companies. The current partners are listed on the SolarApp.ch/partners page.
SolarApp services
SolarApp offers a platform for the non-binding calculation of solar projects (solar power production, costs and profitability). In addition, binding offers and other services related to solar energy can be demanded via SolarApp. These services are provided voluntarily by solar energy partners, and there is no right to binding offers or other services.

SolarApp offers voluntary written and telephone support for questions about operation and functions for users of SolarApp.
Opening and closing of accounts
Solar power partners can request access to an account for SolarApp at www.solarapp.ch/become-a-partner. There is no entitlement to an account. SolarApp can accept or reject the requests as it wishes. Solar power partners can amend their information and delete their account at any time. SolarApp can also delete an account, but must give at least one month’s notice. After deletion of the account, all stored data will be irrevocably deleted. When registering, an administrator account is created which can then create, manage and delete user accounts within their own company. User accounts may only be passed on to internal employees with an identical company e-mail domain who have undertaken in their employment contract to maintain business confidentiality. Passing on access to third parties is not permitted. In the event of non-compliance, SolarApp reserves the right to immediately delete company accounts.
Rights and duties of the installation companies
Installation partners and end customers can use SolarApp for free. They are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Installation partners can create new SolarApp projects in their account, send standard quotations and binding quotations with their logo to end customers, and place orders for materials. SolarApp can forward quotation requests directly to them. To do this, the installation companies must accept the forwarded project in SolarApp. SolarApp gives preference to installation companies that actively use SolarApp and order materials via SolarApp when forwarding projects.
Data retention
The data of the stored projects belongs to the project creator. If requested by the end customer, stored project data will be forwarded to installers or financing partners. SolarApp stores all projects that are in progress for 30 days. After that, they will be deleted and cannot be retrieved. Completed projects are stored for at least 1 year and can then be stored or deleted by SolarApp at will. Projects are considered completed when they are correctly displayed on the completion/project page. SolarApp does not accept any liability for lost entries and data due to incorrect entries or technical malfunctions on SolarApp’s side or the user’s side.
Changes
SolarApp is constantly being developed and new features are added. The forward compatibility of existing projects is not guaranteed.
Liability
The material costs provided by SolarApp are binding for ‘normal project conditions’ and can be used to create binding offers for the end customer. Calculations regarding production and profitability are based on assumptions and our own calculations and should be considered non-binding estimates. SolarApp would like to note that the actual values may differ significantly from the calculations. SolarApp is in the beta version and is not liable for its accuracy and completeness. All liability claims arising from the use or non-use of the information presented and provided by SolarApp are excluded. SolarApp reserves the right to change or withdraw the calculations in whole or in part. The assumptions made for the calculations are presented transparently in the SolarReport.
Costs
The basic functions of SolarApp (yield calculation, target price and profitability) can be used free of charge. SolarApp reserves the right to charge for advanced functions.
