The most important solar systems

Regardless of your circumstances, there is always a solar energy system that is right for you. Here is an overview of the most important ones.

The different types of solar energy systems

Roof integrated: For new buildings, renovations or for those with high aesthetic standards, integrated solar systems are ideal: you save on conventional roofing (e.g. tiles or sheet metal), as these systems form the roof at the same time. Rooftop installations do not have a building envelope function; they produce electricity exclusively. Rooftop installations include both pitched roof and flat roof installations. Facades: Like a roof-integrated solar energy system, facade solar energy systems take over the functions of the protective building envelope instead of the conventional facade.

MATCH roof integrated system: The solar system for tile and shingle combinations

The unique aesthetics of MATCH are based on classic tiles or shingles – and are fully compatible with them! Transition plates are not necessary. This makes integration much more elegant and cost-effective. The system offers a wide range of glass surfaces and colours (terracotta, black, brown and grey). Individual sizes, shapes and designs are also possible.

LEVEL roof integrated system: the solar energy system for challenging roof surfaces

The popular roof-integrated system LEVEL enables complete roof covering and achieves the maximum solar yield even from challenging surfaces. Individual solar modules (edge modules, integration of roof windows, snow guards, single attachment points, etc.) and offset module installation (offset laying) are part of the concept.

NICER roof integrated system: The solar system for rectangular roof surfaces, hall buildings and carports

The most commonly installed roof integrated system in Switzerland is versatile and particularly economical for rectangular surfaces. Solar modules are also available in half and quarter formats. NICER is particularly suitable for roofing, carports, hangars, etc.

FAST Facade System: The facade that produces energy – without giving anything away

The solar facade is the modern building envelope. It combines weather protection, aesthetics and electricity production in a single system. Glass-glass solar modules are used, and any colour and appearance are possible. You can configure your own design at solarcolor.ch.

Pitched roof system: secure and efficient fastening for all pitched roofs

The pitched roof system is characterised by maximum stability and an excellent price-performance ratio. Both glass-film modules and glass-glass solar modules can be used on pitched roofs. The system works with all common roof coverings: tiles, fibre cement, trapezoidal and corrugated iron, sheet metal, bitumen, etc.

Flat roof system: the space-optimised solution for flat roofs

This system allows you to achieve the ideal orientation for your solar installation (east-west or south), regardless of the orientation of the building. Both glass-foil and glass-glass solar modules can be installed using flat roof systems.
