Regarding this agreement
This user agreement is addressed to users of SolarApp.ch and can be viewed online at any time at solarapp.ch/user-agreement-private. SolarApp is entitled to change any section of this user agreement at any time. Changes come into force as soon as they are published online. If the terms of use change, they will be presented to the user for confirmation the next time they access SolarApp.
About SolarApp
SolarApp is a service provided by leading solar partners. The current partners are listed at SolarApp.ch/partner.
User group
SolarApp can be used by anyone who is interested. Installation companies can register for partner access at SolarApp.ch.
SolarApp services
SolarApp offers a platform for the non-binding calculation of solar projects (solar power production, costs and profitability). In addition, binding offers and other services related to solar energy can be demanded via SolarApp. These services are provided voluntarily by solar energy partners, and there is no right to binding offers or other services.
Support services
SolarApp offers voluntary written and telephone support for questions about operation and functions for users of SolarApp. Project-specific, in-depth technical clarifications and questions are forwarded to installation partners.
User rights and obligations
Users can use SolarApp free of charge. They are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. After entering their name and e-mail address, users receive a detailed report and can order binding offers as well as financing offers.
Personal user account
When a solar report is demanded on the final page, SolarApp automatically creates a user account for the management of the current and further solar projects. The user can modify his information at any time and also delete the account. SolarApp can also delete the user account, but must give at least one month’s notice. After deletion of the user account, all stored data will be irrevocably deleted.
Data retention
The data of the stored projects belong to the user. If requested by the user, stored project data will be forwarded to installers or other partner companies. SolarApp stores all projects that are in progress for 30 days. After that, they will be deleted and cannot be retrieved. Completed projects are stored for at least 1 year and can then be stored or deleted by SolarApp at will. Projects are considered completed if they are correctly displayed on the completion/project page. SolarApp does not accept any liability for lost entries and data due to incorrect entries or technical malfunctions on SolarApp’s side or on the user’s side.
Changes
SolarApp is constantly being developed and new features are added. The forward compatibility of existing projects is not guaranteed.
Non-binding nature
All calculations are based on assumptions and the user’s own calculations and should be considered non-binding estimates. SolarApp would like to point out that the actual values may differ considerably from the calculations. For binding offers, the assumptions and calculations made must be verified and specified on site. SolarApp is in the beta version and is not liable for its correctness and completeness. SolarApp shall not be liable for any claims arising from the use or non-use of the information displayed and provided by SolarApp. SolarApp reserves the right to change or withdraw the calculations in whole or in part. The assumptions made for the calculations are presented transparently in the report.
Costs
The basic functions of SolarApp (yield calculation, target price and profitability) can be used free of charge. SolarApp reserves the right to charge for advanced functions.
